1909 Keyless Lock found while Detecting for coins

A nice find while metal detecting for coins the the town of Red Bluff Calif. This keyless lock was found in an empty lot in the City of Red Bluff with a Whites 6000D Series 2 metal detector.

The lock has a date stamped on it, (1909), along with American Keyless Lock Co.

It took me about 3 months to figure out the combination, mostly because I didn't know what kind of sequence it required. It turns out that you must press the correct 3 buttons at the same time to open it. And it springs right open, I think its fortunate the interal spring is still working.

I'm not sure how much it's worth, but I would make a guess of roughly $65 dollars.
